Mo Salmonfarm in Rogaland

Located east of Stavanger in southern Norway, the Mo Salmonfarm has a reputation for good food, comfortable housing and excellent fishing zones. Guests have the choice of staying at the Mo Country Hotel or renting a private cottage with kitchen facilities.

The Salmonfarm is within walking distance of fishing zones on the Suldal river, which can be fished with fly, spoon or worm. For the adventurous traveler, the Mo Country Hotel offers car transports for up-river excursions.

Day 1 - OSLO-STAVANGER-MO
• Flight from Oslo to Stavanger and then transfer to pier in Stavanger
• Cruise on the lovely Sandsfjorden for approximately 2 hours
• Local transport to Mo (15 minutes from ferry terminal)
• Dinner and overnight at the Mo Salmonfarm

Day 2 - MO SALMONFARM
• Breakfast
• The day begins with a guided orientation tour of the area to teach you some secrets of the Suldal river
• Afternoon fishing
• Dinner and overnight at the Mo Salmonfarm

Day 3, 4, 5 - MO SALMONFARM
• Fishing in various zones
• Dinner and overnight at the Mo Salmonfarm

Day 5 - MO-STAVANGER-OSLO
• Return to Oslo via Stavanger

• Fishing in the Sandsfjorden from boat
• Trous of the nearby mountains for trout fishing in the mountain lakes
• This area is popular for its practice locations for dry fly fishing
