Day 1 - OSLO
• Spend the afternoon sightseeing in Oslo
• Overnight in Oslo
Day 2 - OSLO-TROMSO
• Breakfast
• Flight from Oslo to the Arctic city of Tromso
• Visit the Ishavskatedralen (the Arctic Church), the Polar Museum and the Northern Lights Observatory
• Overnight in Tromso
Day 3 - TROMSO-KAUTOKEINO

• Continue through Finland to Kautokeino, where you can visit the Juhls Silver Gallery

Day 4 - KAUTOKEINO-LEVAJOK

• After a "walkaround" in Kautokeino, drive to the village of Karasjok, where you can visit the Samic Museum and the Samic Center for Handcrafts and Arts
• Continue to Levajok, passing the famous Tana River, the largest salmon river in Northern Europe
• Overnight in Levajok
Day 5 - LEVAJOK-HONNINGSVAG

• For the enthusiastic salmon fishers, we suggest spending an extra few days in Levajok to fish some of the largest salmon in the world. The world's record is held for an Atlantic Salmon caught in the Tana at 35.4 kilos
• Continue driving to Lakselv via Tanabru and the Ifjord Mountain
• Drive past the Porsangerfjord to Honningsvag
• Overnight in Honningsvag
Day 6 - HONNINGSVAG-ALTA

• Spend half a day visiting the NORTH CAPE PLATEAU
• Drive over the Sennalandet mountains to Alta
• Overnight in Alta
Day 7 - ALTA-TROMSO-COASTAL STEAMER
300 km
• Breakfast
• Visit the Stone Carving Museum outside of Alta. This museum is on the UNESCO list and contains stone carvings which are 2 - 3,000 years old
• Drive past the spectacular viewpoint at Kvaenangen
• Return rental car in Tromso and board the Coastal Steamer at approximately 2300 hrs
• Overnight on the Coastal Steamer
Day 8 - 10 TROMSO-TRONDHEIM
• These days are spent on board the Coastal Steamer on a southbound passage
• You will have the opportunity to see the Lofoten Islands, the City of Bodo and the Helgeland Coast
• Coastal Steamer arrives in Trondheim in the early morning
• Flight to Oslo
