Day 1
Start this morning with a comprehensive city tour, including:
• Vigeland Sculpture Park
• Holmekollen Ski Arena
• The Viking Museum
• Kontiki, Ra and Tigris Museums
• Polarship Fram
• Maritime Museum
We recommend combining these excursions with some leisure time spent
walking through the downtown. Oslo is a very safe and comfortable
city. (The same is true for other Norwegian cities as well.) You may
want to visit:
• Karl Johan Street
• Stortingsgaten
• The shopping centers Steen & Strom and Glassmagasinet
• Paleet and Studenterlunden
• Day ends with an overnight in Oslo
Day 2
We recommend spending this day exploring the area outside the city
center. Organized tours are available. We can also arrange
individually-tailored tours at the client's request. Some interesting
sights to visit include:
• Hadeland Glass Factory
• Blafargeverket Museum and Art Gallery
• Old town of Drobak, with its St. Clause House and art galleries.
• Return to Oslo in the afternoon with ample time for leisure
• Overnight in Oslo
Day 3
Spend this day exploring the seaside area
• Akerhus Fortress
• Lunch on the pier at Aker Brygge
• Oslo Town Hall and Norway Information Center
• Resistance Museum
• Cruise the Oslofjord - tours leave from the front of Town Hall
every 20 minutes
• Munch Painting Gallery
• National Gallery
• Overnight in Oslo
Alternative
• Explore Oslo on your own using the OSLO CARD, which gives you free
and reduced admissions to many of the sights on our tour.
