Day 4 - DALEN-STAVANGER
• Breakfast at hotel
• Climbing the mountains, we pass through the northern part of Setesdalen and arrive at the foot of Lysefjord
• By ship, we pass the famous "Pulpit Rock" on Lysefjord
• Lunch en route
• Overnight in Stavanger
Day 5 - STAVANGER-HARDANGER/ LOFTHUS
• Breakfast at hotel
• Sightseeing tour in Stavanger, stopping at the Canning Museum and the old town
• Drive the "Ryfylke Road" to Roldal
• Stop in Roldal to see the Roldal Tunet, a handicraft and outdoor museum
• Lunch en route
• Visit the famous Latefoss, a magnificent waterfall
• Continue along the Sorfjorden from Odda to Lofthus in Hardanger
• Overnight in Lofthus |
Day 6 - LOFTHUS/ GEILO
• Breakfast at hotel
• Ferry crossing from Hardangerfjord
• Continue by coach to Voss
• Drive down the spectacular Stalheimskleivene to Gudvangen
• Lunch en route
• Cruise from Gudvangen to the pier in Flam, where the train to Myrdal will be waiting
• The "Flam Train" is a 50 minute ride which takes you up the hillside on tracks that have been looked upon as a "masterpiece of engineering"
• Change trains at the mountain station of Myrdal and continue on to Geilo (A coach will be transferring the luggage on this day, and the bags will be waiting at the train station in Geilo.)
• Overnight in Geilo
Day 7 - GEILO-OSLO
• Breakfast at hotel
• Coach departure for Oslo
• Lunch en route
• Arrive in Oslo early afternoon
